Our Expansion Project
The Islamic Center of Aubrey is embarking on an exciting expansion project to acquire land for our future mosque that will accommodate our growing community. This project is crucial for providing a larger space for worship, educational programs, and community events.
The new mosque will be located on a strategically chosen piece of land that will serve as a hub for spiritual growth and community engagement. We aim to create a welcoming environment that reflects our commitment to inclusivity and service.
Our project aims to develop a comprehensive campus featuring:
- A state-of-the-art, self-sustaining, and clean energy masjid for worship.
- Educational facilities, including an Islamic School and full seminary program.
- Community spaces for health, wellness, cultural events, and outreach.
- Revenue-generating business and retail spaces to ensure financial sustainability.
- The Islamic Center will welcome everyone, creating a space of peace, connection, and shared values.
Unfortunately we have ran into a major challenge and need the community’s help ASAP. The seller for the land we are under contract with has decided NOT to extend our closing date. The seller wants to get out of the contract and sell the land for a much higher price than what we agreed too which is $1.75 Million dollars.
To make this a reality, we need your support urgently to close the 25 acre land. The deadline to close on this land is not extendable. If we don’t raise the funds by December 16th 2024 we will lose the land.

Why Support the Islamic Center of Aubrey?
Our current rented facility (2,600sqft.) has reached its capacity, hosting over 600 attendees for Friday prayers and overflowing during major events like Eid and Ramadan. To better serve our community, we need to expand to accommodate the rapid growth.
Our Plan:
Purchase this 25 acres of land to establish the campus.
Phase 1 Construction: Build a masjid and community center.
Phase 2 Construction: Develop retail spaces and residential areas.
